I like them, I may be getting one too. A loaded up model for less than $24,000, you cant beat that with a stick

If it's about patriotism... never mind.
Otherwise, if you are looking for a dependable reasonably priced SUV with good for the class fuel economy, excellent off-road capability, perfect ride - get a 4Runner for like $26 - 27,000 out of the door.

your avatar look so cute for a patriot. My opinion for you is not to buy JEEP,, they have gone down in quality since 2003

They are pretty cool.I pick mine up in the morning.I have owned jeeps for years. And you can't beat them in the dependability department. The main reason I am getting the patriot is because it gets almost double the gas mileage of the 05 wrangler I now have. But stay away from the liberty they are just a cheap truck masquerading in a jeep suit.Especially stay away from the 3.7 engine they have issues.I have hear may good things about the new 2.4 engine.Of course you can't beat the old 4.0 like I have in my other jeeps. But unfortunately they don't offer it anymore.

Jeep JK - 4 Door Wrangler with Hardtop. You get a convertible and they will hold their value better than the Patriot.

Buying a Jeep Patriot for daily driving and moderate off-roading wouldn't be a bad idea(provided that you purchase a lift kit and some tires. Example: http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/top-20...oncept.htm )
You could have one exactly like that for under 25 thousand out the door. If you are more serious about off-roading, get the base model wrangler. In utterly stock form with the smaller streetish tires it will do much better than that lifted patriot Smile If you're looking to spend a little more, think about a Hummer H3 or Toyota FJ cruiser.
