Jeep Compass - Impossible to drive?

I used to drive a Jeep TJ (or Wrangler as some people know it.)

Sadly, I had to sell it, so I just bought a Jeep Compass (2009) in April.
I drive about one hour every day to work, on a major, toll highway.

One of the reasons I had to sell the TJ, was because it was soooooooooooo hard to drive when it was windy.

Well, apparently, as much as I LOVE Jeeps, they are impossible to drive when it's windy.

My arms hurt like hell when I get home now, because I have to hold on to the steering wheel so damn hard.

Am I missing something?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Jeep Compass owners....similar problem?
