Is the Chrysler 300 a good car? my first car?

I get my license in like 2 days and my parents wanted me to think of what kind of car i want and i really want a 2005 or newer chrysler 300 (i like the new body style)...is it a safe car? will the insurance be really high? what other suggestions do you have for cars? i like big cars, and this is the only sedan i like the rest of the cars i like are SUV's...so what do you think?

It's a very safe car and insurance should be OK if you don't get the 300C or SRT8 which have V8 engines. That said, don't get the base model with the 2.7 liter V6 either, that engine is junk and not powerful enough for a car that size. Get and model with the 3.5 liter V6 if you're getting one of these.

Consumer's Reports advises everyone not to buy the 300.
