2005 Dodge Grand Caravan...How to get my iPod to play through my audio/video jacks?

I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 6-disc DVD changer. On the DVD changer, it has video and audio jacks. A lot of people I know use these to play their iPods (with a cord bought from Radio Shack). I tried this but I can't figure out how to get it to play. If it plays one song, then it wants to go on to a DVD at the end of the song.

I've read that some people's owner's manuals say to set the options to Auxiliary...but the only options showing on mine are AM/FM, DVD, and Sirius.

Anyone with a Dodge figure out this problem?
