How can I adjust the length of the steering column on an 03 Chrysler Sebring?

My girlfriend is 5'10 with long legs. The seat in her car is all of the way back (which is comfortable for her legs) but the steering wheel is too far away, making driving very uncomfortable for her. Is there a way to bring the steering wheel closer to the driver? Possibly some sort of extension? Or maybe a seat replacement would be the best option?

There is no way to extend steering column,they are designed this way for safety reasons. replacing the seat wont help either she will still need to put it back to be comfortable. master tech 28yrs.
