Where is the thermostat on a Jeep Liberty located?

I think I need to change mine. Is it hard to do in a liberty?
There wasn't a gasket with the one I bought from Napa, should there have been?

It isn't on the upper radiator hose
IT IS NOT ON THE UPPER RADIATOR HOSE.

I have changed thermostats on other cars.
I'm assuming this one is on the lower hose.
I just want to know if it is tough to change and where it is located on the Liberty
