I am a 16 year old male and I am gonna get a 2006 Dodge Charger R/t. I am worried that the insurance will be al ot. Will it? What is the average amount that you pay for insurance?

Well, I hate to say it but I think at your age anything is going to high. It all depends on what state your in and the kind of coverage your looking for. I'm not sure if you're able to but, sometimes it's cheaper to list the vehicle under your parents name so that way you receive some of their discounts and also, it can help to have other drivers listed as a part-time driver for the vehicle and not just you. If you have had a permit for 1 year and you are getting your license your insurance wont be too bad, maybe around 100 a month... if the car is a sports car add on a little more,.. If you are currently insured on another vehicle the price should be about the same for any other vehicle. Just call your family insurance company and get a free quote. If you don't like the price, call another insurance company.. and so on.

I am 16 to and I just bought my brothers 2007 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona and insurace is not that big of a deal. It is most likely more then what you pay now but the car itself is very safe so your insurance will pay more the buy a new car to keep you safe rather then pay millions of dollars in medical bills.
