Help on parking brake for a dodge ram 1500 4wd?

I am in the process of replacing the emergency brake shoes on my dodge ram 1500 and I discovered that the ones I purchased from AutoZone don't match the OEM ones. There is a slot that is larger that what the OEM ones are. This is where the spring clips in. Short of buying the overpriced ones from the dealership, I seem to be stuck. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I feel the need to tighten up my parking brake. This point, it does not like hills hold a boat ramp, even though I know the tranny will be trucks, while in the park. I like it set up the ramp, so when I went to the drive or reverse the transfer of the park.
