where/how do i attach a towbar to front on 90 jeep cherokee laredo to tow it behind motorhome?

owner's manual says not to attach towbar to bumper, but doesn't say how/where to attach towbar. need to use a towbar to pull 1990 jeep cherokee laredo behind my motorhome.

No the bumpers on the Cherokees are worthless... you would pull the bumper right off the thing before you got out of town.
The tow bar would probably be best if it was bolted where the factory tow hooks would be.

An aftermarket offroad bumper with attachment points for D-rings (http://www.jcroffroad.com/) would be the best solution, with a tow bar that would attach where the D-rings do. This is also how the military attaches thier tow bars.

They make a mounting plate that has the tow hook (with or without receiver hitch) and get thier tow bar that mounts to the bracket. The tow bracket requires the tow hook brackets to mount.

Any good welding shop can fab one up for you. Price depends on where your located. I built one for my cherokee for about $200. It needs to attach to the frame area directly behind and below the factory bumper. I still have the one from my 90' and I'd sell it cheap but shipping prices are out of this world so that probably wouldn't help.

what we did was put a couple tow hooks on a small mount so you can have tow hooks for off roadin, or the tow bar for pulling
