How do i disconnect the copper tube on my 2000 jeep cherokee radiator?
There is a copper tube connected to my radiator in my 200o jeep cherokee with the inline 6. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disconnect it. any help?

That sounds like your oil cooler line. Im not sure about jeep. But on GM there is a plastic cap over the line fitting. If you take it off you will see the line going into the fitting, help on by a U shaped lock ring. If you push in on the line towards the fitting a bit, you can usually pull the lock ring with a scribe or pair of needle nose. But every manufacturer does there own thing differently. If you put a picture up i could tell you how for sure.
How is the line attached? Is it like i said or something different like a fitting screwed into it? Content provided by Yahoo Answers. |
