Where is the exterior temp sensor located on my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country? It currently reads "0C".

Where is the exterior temp sensor located on my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country? It currently reads "0C".
It was working fine until a raccoon ran out in front of me and I hit him. It doesn't read anything but the "0C" now.

Where is the exterior temp sensor located on my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country? It currently reads "0C".
It will be mounted behind the grille, but in front of the radiator. It is a round sensor with a square plastic bracket held in place by one screw.
You might have to remove the plastic cover that goes between the grille and the radiator support to see it and get to it. |

The sensor is located in the grill. However the 'OC' means 'open circuit'. Raise the van on a lift and look under it where the raccoon went under and see if you can find some wires damaged or pulled loose.
