The rear differential is running really noisy on my 2006 Jeep Liberty...I bought the Jeep new and I've already exceeded 36000 miles on the bumper to bumper...does any know how long the Powertrain warranty on a new 2006 Jeep was? Please help. Thank you.

Some have 7/70 depending on the vehicle. Call the dealership and have them run your VIN to check warranty.

The powertrain warranty on that is 7/70. But if the dealer pulls the cover and the fluid has never been changed they can deny the warranty. But most of the time they won't. Typically the adjuster clips break on those letting chunks of metal float around in there and also letting the adjusters walk back and it usually screws up the bearings.
