All transmissions have a cooler. It is built into the radiator. But some cars have Auxiliary coolers, which is mounted most of the time to the outside of you air conditioning condensor. Look to see if you have two or three transmission cooler lines. The cooler lines typically run from trans- to radiator- to cooler- back to trans. But I believe your model truck will not have an aux cooler stock.
There are several things you can do to add horsepower. Hypertech power programmers (can void manufacturer warranties if still covered), higher spark ignition systems, air intake, exhaust. The more air that can enter and exit your motor, the more power. I have also seen a kit that plugs up to your Ambiant ait temp sensor which makes your computer think it is colder outside than it is, giving it a more powerful air-to-fuel mixture. |

all vehicles have them, most are mounted inside the radiator ,heavy duty vehicles have them mounted in front of the air condition radiator, just look in front and see if has a smaller cooler, and on the horse power you can add programmer to it that will help it a lot, good luck.
