the wiring harness under dash in my 1988 dodge dakota is fried and I was curious if a wiring harness from a 1990 dodge dakota will work on my truck? please help me?

It has to be close as those were the same body styles and same powertrains in those trucks, but I'm not sure. There could be differences with different options such as tilt wheel, a/c, etc.

Probably not. Color codes, connections and where the wires go will probably have changed between the two years.
