I am 14 y/o and next year I will be getting my driver's permit. When I am 16, I will be getting a car. I want a Dodge Journey. My aunt bought one and I have fallen in love with it! Smile

I ask 09-10, because in 2012 I will not be getting the new 2012 model it will be an older model.lol Even though I have no complaints about that! Smile

) Anyway, I just wanted to know your opinion. I don't want someone who is going to down the Dodge company because they're "gun hoe" for Ford!lol i want someone who has reviewed it online. Possibly driven or ridden in it. But, if you have seen just seen one on the road, your opinion is still welcome! Smile

Please don't tell me I need to start off with a clunker. I will have full coverage of the car. I obey the speed limit and I have common sense. I may be a teenage guy, but I don't drive like one. Yes, I have driven on the road before. Heck, I have driven my aunts Dodge on the road before.lol But seriously, mom siad it was an option so I just need your opinion and maybe a few other SUV's you reccomend. Thanks Smile

Also, how do you get the new car smell?? I LOVE the smell of a new car! Is there an air freshner or a spray you can get? Car dealers have to get it in there some how! Even used cars smell new!lol

It's a horrible, overpriced, ugly, stupid American car. DON'T BUY IT! If you really want a Dodge, (and they are nice cars) get a Challenger or, if it's in your price range, Viper. Please don't think I'm trying to be offensive- I'm not. I'm just saying what I think about it. New car smell? You are looking for a new car spray. It's sold right here:

There's nothing wrong with a Dodge Journey reliability-wise or otherwise.

You only need a 5-passenger version because the 3rd row seat is too small for your teenage friends to climb into for going to the movies.

If you like small American-made SUVs you might also want to consider a Jeep Patriot, Ford Escape or Dodge Nitro.

Buying a new car is the best way to get new car smell! But there are also sprays and even an aroma decanter which attaches to the air vents so that it 'blows' the scent throughout the car.
