Dodge Nitro Tail Light has a hole.?

There's a hole in my 2008 dodge nitro tail light. does anybody know if i have to replace the entire tail light or is it just a cover i have to replace. Thank you.

The complete assembly has to be changed as it is fused together in one piece. A lot of salvage yards sell aftermarket lights for less than half the cost of a dealer item.

Use clear red tape or have your tailight fixed at the dealership. My dad's camry had broken tailights so he fixed it by covering it with red tape.

you replace the whole thing,if you have good insurance they will cover the cost of replacing it ,just turn it in as a small accident or file it under the comp part of your insurance,they cost a lot to get one from a dealer but you can find a few of those used now,check on this site if you don find one anywhere else,good luck,http://www.partstrain.com/ShopByVehicle/DODGE
