I hit a fire hydrant. If I get it done at a private shop will it void the warranty?

depends on whats wrong with the bumper? if it is a factory defect it is covered, if its been damaged then it will not. most body shops give free estimates. have the dealer where you bought it take a look, the service manager should come out and look at it and know wether its a factory defect or if its been damaged

No, any warranty does not cover body damage. But it will not void the factory warranty to get body repairs done at a private shop. As I said before, body repairs are not covered by any factory warranty.

it wont void the warranty on it ,because power train warranty doesn't cover the bumpers on it,that's considered body damage, your insurance company will cover this though,if you go through a private source for this it will be expensive, here's a site for the bumpers on some dodges, that might help you, good luck, you,ll still have to pay labor strait out of your pocket though unless you turn it in,http://www.autopartsway.com/autoparts/ymks.cfm?VehicleSearch=DG
